Efficiency through angle-selective shading

DLS COOLSHADE HR is an insulated glass with efficient, angle-selective solar control and has a coolness and distance through its living reflections. A design element for courageous and interesting architecture.

Exceptional solar factors down to 0,08 at high solar incidence, reduction in direct sunlight, in combination with energy gain at low solar incidence make COOLSHADE an ideal component for external thermally insulating walls.

The three-dimensional expanded metal creates a combination glass element with many functions:

• Dynamic summer heat protection in differing solar incidence (halls, facades, roofs) whilst retaining visual contact with the outside by means of colour design
• Completely maintenance-free, dust free solar control
• Sufficient daylight from diffuse and direct radiation without glare
• Protection of privacy with good vision control from outside (public rooms, foyer, entrances)
