Energy saving insulated glass
Large areas of glazing are no longer just thoughts – they are evident in modern architecture. However, current statutory requirements and increasing energy prices require more and more reductions in energy consumption – therefore increasing the performance necessities of glazing.
The triple-glazed unit CLIMATOP ONE sets the new standard: With a U-value up to 0,4 W/m².K it achieves the insulation values of a solid, highly insulated block wall – but with good transparency! A recommendation for north oriented glazing.
CLIMATOP ULTRA N offers a Ug-Value of up to 0.5 W/m².K and distinguishes itself with its hhigh transmittance of solar energy (g-Value 0.5). The heat energy of the sun can achieve a positive energy balance on South-oriented facades in the winter months since CLIMATOP ULTRA N allows more energy into the room than it loses.
By using our CLIMATOP-Energy saving glass, you are making a significant contribution to climate change and a reduction of
CO2 emissions.
CLIMATOP ONE
The energy saving glass with exceptional thermal insulation up to 0,4 W/m².K. The ideal application for north-oriented or large areas of glazing. In comparison to glass – solid external walls must, in accordance with the Austrian OIB Regulation 6, achieve a U-Value of at least 0,35 W/m².K.
CLIMATOP MAX [>]
The energy saving glass with optimum utillisation of the heating power of the sun achieves U-Values up to 0,5 W/m².K. The best solution for low energy and passive energy houses with large areas or west-oriented glazing (g-value 0,5).
CLIMATOP ULTRA N
The energy saving glass with sustainable thermal insulation represents the current standard with thermal insulation of up to 0.5 W/m²K. Taking solar gain into account (g-value 0,6), CLIMATOP ULTRA N - depending on position and orientation of the glazing - achieves a positive energy balance. i.e. less energy is lost through heating than is won through natural sunlight.
