Exterior Ministry Herrengasse, Vienna

Complete careful restoration and profound modernisation of the very important building structure are the significant aspects in the renovation of the Exterior Ministry in Vienna. First of all the existing bridge on the first floor was completely demolished and replaced with a double-height glass passage between the second and third floors. The new glazed connection between the two buildings - using laminated safety glass STADIP from heat-strengthened and fully tempered glass in 12 and 15 mm thickness – once again provides an open view from Herrengasse down to Minoritenplatz.
