University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna

The deciding problem situation with the modernisation of the Franz-Schackhöfer House at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna was the way in which historical architecture of important substance could be transformed in the sense of modern preservation. The facades were built as a monolithic construction with external variable and coloured solar control shading. The colourful sheets which are screen-printed with SERALIT LITEX lend the building a distinct atmosphere and make a play between inside and outside.
