Chanel Ginza Building, Tokyo

A spectacular innovation on the cityscape of the Japanese Metropolis is the new Chanel Flagship Store in Tokyo. The facade of the ten storey building is a glass-„Sandwich“ with an internal mesh-woven structure of polished stainless steel. The whole facade has the appearance of a classic Chanel costume. During the day the glass facade is transparent and provides views to the interior of the building. The switchable transparency of the PRIVA-LITE glass transforms the VARIO system facade into a giant projection screen for images and light.
