The Upper Austrian provincial government wanted the Congress and Exhibition center to be interpreted as a „glass palace“. The initial concept was to achieve daylight quality in the completely glazed-over interior, as if it came directly from the sky.

In respect of this goal, the office of Bartenbach developed a unique light louver, together with the manufacturer ECKELT. The 13.800 m² glass area required ca. 220.000 units of DLS Daylight louver. Architecturally unique, multi-purpose and state-of-the-art technology allows this Special Events and Communications center to attract a wide range of events regardless of their infrastructural complexity.
