Fabios Restaurant, Vienna

The Viennese hotspot „Fabios“ is not only very special for gastronomy but also for its architecture. The VARIO glass frontage was conceived as a winter garden with an opening wall onto the street. The restaurant has three different levels of facade. One is the glass facade closed, then the interior facade which is colour coordinated in context with the outer skin, and finally in its opened state where the folding glass walls turn themselves into canopies breaking down the barrier between inside and out.
