Kantonsspital Basel – Clinic 1

As part of the major renovation of the West wing of Clinic 1 at the Provincial Hospital in Basel City, the prudently renovated old building has become an architectural jewel. With the filigree facade design, the square concentric room layout, the light directioning, the sensitive colour concept and with the variety of art-in-building projects, the architect has shown that functional architecture can also be poetic. Approximately 450 m² structurally glazed ECKLITE elements were installed to provide optimum solar and glare control in the treatment and patients rooms.
