Art Gallery Weiz

Creating a harmonic relationship between the existing and new building, integration without conformity, was the central theme. As a transparent element, encased in glass, the mass of the art gallery integrates itself as a curve into the existing Middle-Age environment and reacts like a wave against the surrounding buildings. All communicative „soft“ elements of the facade are VARIO units, whilst the solid parts of the building are covered in copper.
