LKH 2000, Graz-West

The LKH Graz West can be seen as one of the most modern hospital buildings in Europe. A total approx. 10.000 m² glass facade has been erected.
The special constructions include a 20m high point-fixed glass facade which is fixed back to a pre-tensioned spiral cable construction, as well as a 30m long and 15m high point-fixed insulating glass facade, the vertical loads of which are partially transferred to glass fins, connected to the facade. A definite eye-catcher, the 20m high curved stair tower of curved insulating glass is a unique design feature.
