Palais Coburg, Vienna

The revitalization of the Viennese Palais from the 19th Century was carried out under the motto "preserve the past – create the future".
The transparent character of the glazed entrance area emphasizes the elegant atmosphere of the building, which has been transformed into a luxury hotel but retains the view of the historical facade. A pavilion was built on the basis of old plans in the Bastion Garden. The use of insulated glass allows year-round sue of the pavilion. Glass has been used in parts of the floor to provide a glimpse of the imposing cellar vaults.
