Dynamic intersections
The money coloured Finance Center of the Raiffeisenbank Burgenland sets unusual accents in the center of Eisenstadt. The dynamic shell of full-height glazing on the sun-side and unusually opposing small windows captivates the eye. The design by Pichler & Traupmann shows conviction with its many innovative ideas and scores of details. The new building is distinctly separated from the existing structure and the shell appears like a growing treetop with different directions and intersections.
Innovative details
Along the cantilevered management floor and the 14 meter high foyer, the CLIMAPLUS SOLAR CONTROL insulating units act as sun catchers without compromising the view. In the office floors of the South-East facade, insulating glass with integrated DLS ECKLITE units are used to optimise the building energy system. Another detail is the placement of the systematically oriented windows on the West elevation. They are located at floor level or close to the ceiling which provide glare protection at the workstation but still provide views to the outside when you are sitting or standing. The constructive supporting glass and columns in the roof area give the meeting rooms an expansive ambience and provide distant views over the roofs of the city.
