Wine Tower Radisson, Stansted

The second glass wine tower of this size in the world was constructed in the Radisson Hotel at Stansted Airport. The impressive tower has a base area of 4 m², is 10 m high and weighs approx. 6.5 tonnes. The tower guarantees constant temperatures for the 4,000 plus bottles of wine which are stored inside. The particular highlight is the flying „wine angels“ who are fixed to moving cables suspended from the ceiling and whose acrobatics in accommodating orders of wine make the service something to admire.
