Winter garden Fritzens, Tirol

The Innsbruck Architect Weiskopf designed this home transformation with the owner, which has a new skin providing more space and most of all introduces light. The elegant, rectangular winter garden is an all-glass construction and offers fantastic all-round views as well as beautiful amounts of natural light to the opened-out core. To keep a comfortable interior climate on hot days, the architect came up with the ingenious idea of automatically spraying the glass box with water which flows as a permanent film down over the slightly pitched roof.
