CALUWIN calculates the U-value of a window

U_w is calculated from the surface proportions of glass and frame, the perimeter of the glass edge and the respective thermal conductivity coefficients. It becomes complicated with different frame profiles and fill elements within a facade: the all of the surfaces- and U-values of all glass types and panels flow together in the formula – the calculation "by hand" can be enormously taxing. The use of CALUWIN simplifies the work considerably: it saves a lot of time, is much more comfortable and avoids mistakes that can often occur with paper and pencil.

CALUWIN is suitable for window and profile makers who are often confronted with questions about U_w-values.
